FINSPIRE Hackathon is the premier annual event of FINSPIRE where hustlers, hackers and hipsters from universities team up to ideate, design, build and pitch their Fintech-inspired innovations. The competition is co-organized by Convoy and Cyberport. Participants have a chance to win over HK$100k in cash and prizes.

We successfully demonstrated a 5G Mixed Reality prototype for the silver generation using smart glass. The application detects the progress and continuously prompts encouragement words from the family members. At the same time, real-time data analysis is shown.

The competition was jointly organized by Financial Services and Treasury Bureau and Cyberport Hong Kong. The organizers adopted Hackathon approach for secondary and tertiary students, with a mission to raise their awareness of insurance products and develop innovative solutions for the InsurTech industry.
